Privacy Notice

1. What we record
- Wallet and purchase data: your public wallet address, the coin and network you paid with, the amount, the transaction hash, the DONY and NFT you are owed, your charity choices, and referral links.
- Details required when you purchase: your email address, and the security PIN that protects the private parts of your dashboard.
- Details you choose to give: a nickname, and messages you post on the Cheer Wall (these are public) or send to support.
- Technical data: your IP address and browser type, and an activity log of what happens on the site (visits, wallet connections, purchase attempts and results), and a diagnostic log of the page's technical messages (errors and the steps of wallet connections and payments, with security keys and signatures removed). The approximate country of a purchase is looked up from the IP address.
2. Why we record it
- To process and verify your purchase, deliver your DONY and NFT, and show your dashboard.
- To protect the presale against fraud, bots and abuse, and to resolve payment problems. We use the IP address only as a reference for this, never for anything else.
- To answer your support requests — by email only — and to let you know when you win one of the events we run.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We use only the browser storage the site needs to work: your wallet session, your language choice, and whether you have closed certain notices. We use no advertising cookies and no analytics or tracking scripts.
4. Who processes data for us
We use these types of service providers to run the site. They receive only what their part of the job needs:
- Website hosting providers.
- Database and server-function providers.
- Blockchain data providers and price information sources.
- Web3 wallet-connection providers (tools that connect your crypto wallet to the blockchain).
- Email service providers.
- Font and translation providers requested by your browser.
5. How long we keep it
Records of completed purchases (amount, DONY, NFT, PIN, referrals) are kept without a time limit, because they back your claim and the donation records. Activity logs and diagnostic logs are kept for security and support and are deleted when no longer needed. Blockchain transactions are public and permanent; we cannot erase them.
6. Your choices
You can ask us, through the Customer Support form, to show, correct or delete the off-chain information we hold about you (for example your email or nickname). Some records, such as completed purchases, must be kept to honor your claim. Wallet addresses and transactions on the blockchain cannot be removed.
7. Security
We protect data with access limits and server-side controls. No system is perfectly safe. Protect your wallet: never share your seed phrase or private key, and be careful with links and messages that claim to be from DONY.
8. Children
This site is not for people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes
We may update this notice as the project develops. The date at the top shows the latest version.
